ShopChantalStyleFile is a personal fashion and style blog written and edited by Chantal Young.
I am a former contemporary collections boutique owner and have been a stylist and fashion buyer for over 10 years. I love helping people discover their personal style and encourage them to try new trends and pieces – in their own way. I currently live on the coast of Maine and so my ideas and style tend to focus on dressing in the Northeast (it really is different than anywhere else). I am married and a mother of 2 young boys. I love to shop and travel and adore old photos and movies. I am and will always be a Midwestern girl at heart.
Currently, all my looks are personally purchased pieces, new and/or from my closets. If at anytime I am sent clothing, jewelry or any other accessories for editorial consideration, I will make it note of it on its related post. My motto is “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. My intention is to keep my blog as inspiring and as positive as possible.
